Art Fictions Anthology 1 at ASC Gallery
Lindsay Seers’ Optogram (2004/11) is showing as part of Art Fictions Anthology 1 opening tomorrow at ASC Gallery at The Handbag Factory, London.
In a museum-like study of Art Fictions podcast guests, curator Darren O'Brien presents the work of artists Lindsay Seers, Anna Perach, Dean Kenning, Eleanora Agostini, Emma Cousin, Hannah Hughes, Ingrid Berthon-Moine, Katie Pratt, Luke Burton, Richard Ayodeji Ikhide and Rosie Gibbens.
Art Fictions is a fortnightly podcast produced by artist and writer Jillian Knipe. Co-hosts have included author and critic Elizabeth Fullerton, critic and curator Pelumi Odubanjo, and writer and curator Vanessa Murrell. Each episode explores a piece of fiction selected by the guest artist, which is used as a lens through which to view their artwork. The programme presents new ways of talking alongside art, rather than directly at it.
This group exhibition will be accompanied by a solo show by Knipe in ASC Gallery 2.
